Myrmel Digital (Myrmel Digital, Sagtomtveien 5, 1359 Eiksmarka, Norway) runs Findable Legal and is responsible for the data described here. Because the business is in Norway, the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to everything we store.

This website

The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and has no forms. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes the technical data any web server sees, such as IP addresses, to deliver the pages and stop abuse.

Business contact details

To contact law firms, we keep work contact details that firms publish themselves: the firm's name, address, phone number and website, and the names and work email addresses of attorneys as shown on the firm's website or public listings. We use them only to contact the firm about our service, on the basis of our legitimate interest in business-to-business contact. We do not buy personal data and we do not sell or share our lists.

Email

We keep the emails you send us and our replies. Our email is hosted by Migadu in Switzerland. If you ask us to stop emailing you, we keep your address on a do-not-contact list so that we never contact you again; that is the only thing we keep it for.

Measurement data

We store the answers AI tools give to our questions. They name firms and sometimes attorneys, as they appear in public sources. For clients we also store the monthly reports and the work log. We never need or ask for information about a firm's clients or cases.

How long we keep data

Contact details of firms we have not worked with are deleted within 12 months of our last contact, except the do-not-contact list. Client records are kept as long as Norwegian accounting law requires for invoices, and otherwise deleted within 12 months after the work ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to our use of it. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
